Arcádia was founded in 1933 by the Bastos family, who are still in charge of the brand today, preserving tradition in their recipes and manufacturing processes.

It produces chocolates, almonds, pastries and ice creams and operates a vast network of shops and cafeterias from the north to the south of Portugal.
